About Austin Ward

Career highlights past and present

Based in Houston, Texas, Austin Ward spent three years as the vice president of business development at Gulf Coast Bank and Trust, an asset-based lending division of Gulf Coast Bank with annual finances exceeding $3 billion. At the Houston, Texas company, Austin Ward identified, negotiated, and closed the sale for working capital credit facilities representing companies generating approximately $300 million annually.

He also worked with early start-ups. He financed nearly 30 companies with a combined $65 million in committed capital and generated approximately $1.4 million in fee income interest in 2021 alone. Previously, Austin Ward spent time as the regional manager for Daily Thermetrics in The Hague, the Netherlands, and as global director of Weatherford International in Houston.

Mr. Ward holds an MBA from the Rice University Jones Graduate School of Business. He also has a bachelor of science in biology from Texas A&M University. In addition, he is a member of several professional groups and organizations, including the Risk Management Association and the Turnaround Management Association. A few of his personal interests include snowboarding and painting.
